Our "société à mission"

A key pillar for measuring our environmental and social impact.

An engaged and sincere company

In 2023, we took a major step forward by becoming a “société à mission”, proving our formal commitment to chasing social and environmental objectives that go beyond mere financial profitability. This status reflects a strong ambition: to rethink logistics real estate so that it becomes a lever for positive transformation, both for the environment and for local communities.

An innovative vision

Virtuo has a clear ambition: to be a key player in the ecological change of logistics real estate. To reach this, it has set itself ambitious targets, such as systematically obtaining BREEAM Excellent certification for all its projects, achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with the objectives of the National Low Carbon Strategy for all its construction projects.

Find out more about our commitments

I'm proud of how far we've come in the more than a year since we made the ambitious decision to become a "société à mission". This transformation was underpinned by a collective process, in which all our employees helped to define our raison d'être, demonstrating their desire to give meaning to what we do every day. This report reflects the commitment of an entire team to building a sustainable and responsible future.

Our "comité de mission"

| Why set up a “comité de mission” and what is its role?

Since the PACTE law of May 2019, companies can fully pledge to a societal and environmental approach by becoming a “entreprise à mission”.

The role of the “comité de mission” :
+ Ensure that the assignment fits in with the company’s corporate vision.
+ Measuring the impact of the company’s actions in regard to its mission.
+ Communicate regularly on progress made and challenges ahead.
+ Mobilize and engage internal and external stakeholders.

Each member contributes his or her expertise and experience to oversee and ensure that actions taken are in line with this mission.
